On December 9-12, '09, the first official Cradle to Cradle (C2C) training for designers took take place at EPEA Nederland.  For this first ever training of its kind...

a select group of Dutch designers had a unique opportunity to work together on practical cases in an intensive learning program.

By incorporating C2C methodology into our industrial design practices Pezy will be able to support companies in developing C2C products as well as discovering new innovation and business opportunities.

Sara Andersson, one of our industrial designers says: ‘The C2C methodology is very inspiring for industrial designers because we can see clear benefits for both clients and end-consumers. The unprecedented combination of network and expertise will enable us to realize meaningful projects in the near future’.

The training gathered designers from diverse design disciplines: product, interior, fashion, packaging and corporate identity. Among their motivations for enrolling in this program are an enthusiasm to become pioneers in the Dutch design community, to bring C2C principles from theory to best practice and to play a strategic role in the creation and realization of C2C products.
