In close cooperation with our client Xsens, world market leader in 3D motion tracking systems, and partner We Are Perspective Pezy has created a new sensor case for the smallest wireless system at the moment: the MTw.

The new system is used for motion analysis and simulation, and it improves motion registration in, for instance, the medical, the gaming and the film industry. The system is used for purposes such as rehabilitation analyses, and imitating human movements as realistically as possible for film or gaming characters. Several Hollywood productions, including Alice in Wonderland and IronMan2, have used Xsens systems to create realistic "special effects".

The collaboration between the parties involved led to defining new design guidelines based on the market identity of Xsens. On the basis of this, concepts were created which contribute to the brand experience and comply with the strict, technical requirements. The ultimate concept was developed in full, and it enabled Xsens to enter the market quickly with this new sensor, which can be easily attached to the body. Because of the miniaturization of the electronic hardware and case, this is the smallest motion tracker available at the moment!
