The world’s smallest table-top freezer for selling ice cream was developed for Unilever, fitting 60 Ola Rocket ice creams. The extremely compact freezer was developed to encourage the sale of Ola Rocket in nightclubs.
Pezy investigated different user needs, developed formal qualities through various foam models, and improved creative lighting effects in the concept development phase. These were followed up with functional models incorporating backlit Ola logos and eventually fully engineered with complete freezer, insulated interior, electronics and lit components.
This was followed up with the fabrication of 25 pilot-ready products for market testing, created in-house with minimal investment in tooling.
